Iāve been to Salem multiple times but since my friends were visiting from out of state I thought it would be nice to book a tour. I read a bunch of reviews and this one looked good. Check in was a disaster. No organization whatsoever. I checked us in, asked which group we should join (there were two guides) and I was told our names would be called. They never were but we ended up in the crowd led by a male guide whose name I forget. He led us into an alley, explained some of the basic elements of Wicca, insulted monotheism and performed a ritual. Some woman with an āIād like to speak to the manager haircutā interrupted and said that ā50 people in the back canāt hear him.ā She wanted to speak to a manager. This was so awkward but he handled it professionally. Then he told us to pick a heart shaped candle that smelled like knockoff Yankee Candle and led us out. We stopped at a witch memorial and I noticed that the other tour guides had much better speaker equipment and vibes. At this point it had been about an hour. My friends and I decided that if the next place he brought us to was interesting, weād stay. It wasnāt. So we left and got dinner.
