Max passenger / seat weight limit is 300 lbs. Passengers with bodyweights exceeding 300 lbs. can still be accommodated in our Jet or Long Ranger aircraft. An additional fee may apply, payable directly to Scenic Helicopter Tours at check-in.
Per FAA regulations and in the interest of passenger safety all passengers must be weighed at check-in. Only the flight crew will have access to passenger weights, and all information will be kept confidential.

Scenic Helicopter Tours

The Mountain Valley is our first dedicated mountain tour. Very popular with groups looking to see more of the area, this flight offers great views of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Bluff Mountain. As you take off on your flight out to Bluff Mountain and over the Tennessee Valley you are greeted with stunning views of the Smoky Mountain National Park in the distance. The highlight of this trip is getting up close and personal with Bluff Mountain and Sugar Loaf Mountain, both of which were formed by a glacier at the end of the last ice age. The total time and distance for the Mountain Valley Tour are 12 minutes and 24 miles respectively.

What an amazing experience! If you think the mountains are beautiful when you're driving thru or up them (which they are), you have GOT to experience them from a helicopter. Absolutely breathtaking! Everyone with FlyScenic was so nice, friendly, patient and helpful. Our pilot, Rico, was the absolute best! He was informative in every level...about the entire area and about the way the helicopter would be reacting to the wind. He helped this somewhat hesitant and nervous woman to feel calm and comfortable and completely able to enjoy the entire ride. Our selected tour was an hour long and the entire time was amazing. Thanks so much Rico!!

We enjoyed our first helicopter ride together with our pilot phill and boarding attendant James they both did a great job with making sure everything was safe and what we was looking at in air!

The entire process from booking to taking off was excellent. Shortly after arriving the boarding attendant Taylor went over the FAA rules with us before boarding the helicopter and once we walked up to the helicopter they took (optional) pictures of us outside with the helicopter and inside of the helicopter with our headsets on. The pilot Rico was an absolutely excellent tour guide and really made us feel welcome as well as making sure we had a great time. I absolutely would recommend this as it was one of the main highlights of my vacation!
