What To Expect

Stratosphere Tower

At the north end of the Las Vegas Strip stands one of the most iconic landmarks in Las Vegas — Stratosphere Tower. With your ticket, head up to the 1,149-foot Observation Deck, the second-tallest freestanding observation tower in the western hemisphere. Once you have made your way up more than 100 flights in the high-speed elevator, you can check out both the indoor and outdoor decks. The indoor deck features angled windows and air-conditioning while the outdoor deck allows you scan the city through viewfinders or take a walk around the tower. This is where you will get the most unobstructed views of Las Vegas Valley below you. When you're ready for a cocktail, head to the Air Bar, the highest bar in Las Vegas. (Food and drinks are at your own expense.)

After purchasing the tickets through trip advisor, we had to stand in line at the box office to have these tickets printed out. Those purchased by tripadvisor are just vouchers which have to be turned into real tickets at the box office in the first place. (waiting time = 20-30 min, Wednesday in January) After that you have to stand in line again for the security check-up. (approx. waiting time = 20-30 min as well). Nice view though. It was a great experience.

The observation tower at the strat(osphere), offers an amazing view over all Las Vegas. You can see clearly both the strip and downtown. Since its renovation, the structure is really amazing. Sip a cocktail while enjoying the view, you won’t forget it.

According g to the sign it’s the highest observation tower on the strip. It gives you a really cool view of the strip and surrounding area. If you are a guest of the hotel you get special rates to get up to the tower or use the rides on top. There are attendants in the elevator to ensure you get where you need to go. The views are pretty neat.
