Belmont Park is a small amusement park with a wooden roller coaster built in 1925, while SeaWorld San Diego has marine shows and up-close views of orcas and dolphins. Mission Boulevard is lined with casual cafes and eateries.

Mission Bay comprises 4,200 acres in roughly equal parts of land and water, surrounded by 27 miles of meandering shoreline of sandy beaches. Interconnected by a network of waterways, inlets and islets, the bay can also be traveled by boat.
