We were in Georgia this past weekend for my cousin's birthday and we were sooooo bummed we missed a bus tour we signed up for so we went to the Walking Dead Cafe and I told the guy my story and he said oh well if you call this number I bet this walking tour will take you and it is pretty cool. It was around 2pm and he sad I think the las one is at 3 so they maybe be able to squeeze yall in. Georgia Mercantile went WAYYYYYY above and beyond our expectations! She let us go on a tour at 5pm bc we said we wanted to eat first and when we got on the tour, our tour guide Christina was so animated and she knew her TWD facts lol. She made the tour so fun and we even got honked at by Greg Nicotero on the train tracks to Terminus it was such an EPIC DAY!!!!! Just make sure to bring lots of water, wear comfy shoes and take lots of pics but it so amazing to be up close and personal to the actual sets and you maybe even lucky and be there the day they are actually FILMING! We can't wait to go back!

I visited The Walking Dead tour on Labor Day weekend. I enjoyed it even in the heat and humidity. I thought Christine, the guide, did a great job and had lots of energy and charisma. I would suggest the tour try to weave in some of the later attractions earlier on in the tour though. I've watched the show since the beginning so I didn't remember all the small details like the binge watchers might have. I couldn't wait to get to the Alexandria safe zone though. The tour also went over by an hour. It's not a complaint. Just an FYI.

I simply had to visit Senoia knowing that they were currently filming the walking dead there. It's just an hour drive south of Atlanta and the locals are the loveliest people I have ever met! The tour was simply fantastic. It wasn't rushed, it moved at our speed, and although advertised as 2 hours, we took 3 and all of our questions were answered if possible. Nobody was made to feel a nuisance for wanting to stop and take photos. I even managed to see them actually filming a scene in "Alexandria" whilst there (Steven Yeun - Glen - was on set). All major and minor hotspots from twd were pointed out. We even had exclusive access to stop along Gin road where Alexandria is situated. I can't recommend this tour enough. And for $20 it was an absolute bargain!!! And, you may get to celebrity spot along the way! Loved this!!
