My wife, daughter and I had a fabulous time on our Thousand Island Mangrove Tunnel, Manatee & Dolphin Kayak Tour. On our 9am tour we saw a dolphin, lots of birds and fish that jumped out of the water. Our tour guide Heather was so knowledgeable about the mangroves and ecosystem we kayaked through. Highly recommend this tour!

First let me say that Genevieve was a delight to speak to. She made my booking experience one that I will remember always. She has a voice that calmed my nerves being this was our first time in a kayak. I spoke to her at least three times before our trip. She was reassuring each time we spoke. A genuine person. Next let me tell you that this experience was one we will not forget. My husband and I took the tandem glass bottom kayak. Dustin, our super experienced guide taught us everything we would need to know and more. He made us feel very comfortable even though we were very, very inexperienced. He taught us about bioluminescence which was easy to follow. He guided us on the 1 1/2 hour trip into the mangroves where we got to see the waters light up with our paddles dipping into the water, our hands cupping the water and letting the drops light up the river and even seeing mullet fish jump and splash down, again lighting up the river. Dustin knew exactly where to take our group to see it all. The only thing that wasnā€™t so good were the amount of mosquitoes you have to contend with. Just make sure you bring enough bug spray!!!

Dustin at Cocoa Kayak guided us through a truly magical experience on a bioluminescence tour. He was so attentive and knowledgeable. He showed us cool tricks to do with the plankton like shooting ā€œfireballsā€ from our hands. He knew where the schools of fish hung out and where the bioluminescence was heaviest. This is the closest to a REAL Pandora like in Avatar you will ever get. Definitely the highlight of our trip!
