We were in the Cocoa beach area during a cold snap in the end of February. Still, we wanted to venture out on the water, and chose a noon-time paddle in the mangroves. We called to make our reservation and spoke with a very helpful and knowledgeable woman. Our guide, James, met us at the launch area and safely got us out into the mangroves and back to shore in spite of a very brisk wind. Since we are experienced paddlers they granted our request for solo canoes. There was not much to report as far as wildlife due to the weather and time of day, but we did see a dolphin and a few of us caught sight of a manatee. At the end of the trip we over heard James recommend Grills for a good seafood lunch. We decided to check it out and we weren't disappointed. Thanks, James!

This was a really good tour for the money. We saw dolphins and tropical birds. James was an excellent guide and very personable. I would highly recommend this tour to nature lovers.

I would rate this tour a five star. Itā€™s an entity beautiful waterway to start, wide open tame river and enchanting adventuresome mangroves. The kayaks are comfortable and sturdy ( important when youā€™re 64 yrs old and of ample sizešŸ˜‰). We saw dolphins in the distance, many herons, other birds, a tree snake. We were on the noon tour as the morning ones book first and tend to see more wildlife. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable as he pointed out types of mangroves, fish and birds and was happy to answer our questions. Iā€™m a huge picture taker and was pleased to get great shots and our guide volunteered to take some of each member/ family in my group.
