We went at the 9am slot. James was as the departure point waiting for us. It was a very windy day, but we still enjoyed the kayaking. We didnā€™t get to see any animals but we saw many different types of birds such as Herons and Pelicans. The paddling was fun but against the wind. However, on the way back it was a bit easier because the wind helped push us along. We went through the mangroves at a leisurely pace and that was enjoyable. I would have given this a 5 star rating if we would have seen at least a dolphin or a manatee, but it just didnā€™t work out. We did enjoy ourselves and it is a very unique ecosystem. James did a very nice job as a guide.

Aloha Terri L from the Cocoa Kayaking team! So glad that our epic Cocoa Kayaking guide, James, was able to help your party out with nature and our gorgeous, Thousand Island Mangrove Tunnel location in Cocoa Beach, Florida! Unfortunately, we have not control with nature and the team works at our best with the conditions provided. Every day and every tour is different, due to being in nature. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Cocoa kayaking team. The Cocoa kayaking team appreciates your advice and input. We hope you have a wonderful holiday with your sweet family. Your family was truly lovely to take out into the waterway. :)

When we arrived at the country club meeting point the heavens opened and it rained the whole time but thanks to our guide "Seabass" the weather was not a factor and anyway you do get wet . His knowledge was excellent and we saw countless different birds even seeing a osprey catching a fish and the pelicans diving all around the kayaks and following some dolphins outstanding. cannot thank him enough for making the tour excellent and the hidden tunnels in the mangroves proved a hit and out of the rain .

We are had a wonderful time! They provided cases for cell phones and waterproof bags for belongings. We seen a lot of birds: hovering ospreys in action to get fish, crested cormorants, snowy egrets, blue herons. Brown pelican picked into the water couple times almost next to ours kayaks. Our guide Sea Bass/ Sebastian explained everything during about 3 miles tour. Very professional young man with lot of knowledge about animal's behavior. We're able to spot couple manatees. We had wonderful weather without any mosquitoes!
