Thundering Streams and Falls of the Smokies Guided Hiking Tour

Overview
**All participants will be required to wear a mask for any instances where close contact cannot be avoided and in any Park building. Please bring your own masks and hand sanitizer. You will also be asked to sign an acknowledgement of risks and report any illness within 14 days of tour.**
With 3100 miles of streams in the Smokies, there are thousands of beautiful stretches of white water. Adventure awaits as you explore the magic of pristine cascades and waterfalls on a little known trail. We'll warm up on a more popular trail, pausing to enjoy smaller cascades before turning onto a less traveled section of the Park. In the winter, we'll enjoy beautiful glimpses of the surrounding mountains, during the spring we'll pause to enjoy our famous wildflower display, summer brings refreshing swimming holes and in autumn the beauty of changing leaves. This hike is considered moderately adventurous as we gain elevation, climb over downed trees and get our feet wet.

Our guide was fantastic! He was super knowledgable, patient with our kids... it was truly a wonderful learning experience. I highly recommend it.

This moderate hike was perfect for us on our first day vacationing in the Smoky's. The first part was a well maintained path then we came upon a more primitive and challenging hike. Our reward was enjoying our break sitting on a big boulder in the middle of the stream with zero people around! Our guide - Kinsey was well trained and a pleasure to have leading us in the woods. We enjoy passionate guides who are safety minded and her interpretation included much of the history and plants. Everyone that visits Gatlinburg needs to make this a #1 thing to do on the first day! We enjoyed a beautiful morning with Mike as our guide. He quickly connected with our 13 and 10 y/o (note the stream play and even natural ā€˜war paintā€™ ;)). We would definitely recommend him and this hike to anyone!
