The trip was outstanding! Made some new friends and Humberto was an excellent tour guide. I would highly recommend the trip and hopefully I will get to do it again one day. Also, a couple notes: -Pesos weren’t required, don’t worry about exchanging money -Premium Parking was located across the street, it was $30 for 8 hours (it took us 6 hours total) -The metro stop is right in front of the McDonald’s -We met our guide in Mexico, not at the McDonalds -It took about 5 minutes to get through customs and over to the Mexico side -One of the stops required a mask. (Date of tour was 4/30/22) -The restaurant we stopped at had two clean bathrooms. -We also went to a roof top bar for margaritas and it had restroom facilities. -It took about 20 minutes to get back through US customs. Con: There was one part of the tour where we passed some sewage that smelled horrible, the smell only lasted a couple minutes but it definitely wasn’t pleasant.

I havent been out of the country much so I went on a tour. The guide was running late and texted us to cross the border on our own which kind of freaked me out but it was actually really easy to cross in to Mexico you just walk straight into the building south of the train station and pretty much walk through nobody even asked me any questions or for an ID going in. I have Verizon and my phone service cut out not far across the border. We walked around the streets a bit, saw some street art and businesses, walked through an art gallery, had some tequila samples at a shop, and ate a meal of 2 tacos and a sample of chips and salsa at no charge with the option to buy beverages then went to a market area for souvenirs then took a taxi back. The areas we were in all seemed safe.
