We visited the museum and didn’t really know what to expect. It was extremely informative (there’s a lot of reading so just be prepared for that) I loved they had an interactive remote that told story’s/history at different points throughout the experience. We went at 7:00pm so I’m not too sure if that is why but there was no one guiding us the whole time. They did require you to wear a mask and they were very insistent on not taking any pictures. I’ve always seen a advertisement with a section of flooding stairs that resembles the actual titanic sinking and we never saw that I was kind of looking forward to it and bummed when it wasn’t there. I’m not too sure if we missed a section of that since we did not have a guid or if it’s something old they don’t have anymore. There was lots of amazing artifacts and I was very impressed with all of the information they had! Loved that you got a ticket with a real name and at the end we’re able to find out if you survived the shipwreck or not. The design is amazing there is certain sections where you actually feel like you are aboard the actual titanic. The museum was very clean and you can tell they put a lot of though and detail into every inch of the museum. It was on the more pricy side. But I’m glad we got to experience it. We learned a lot about it that we never knew before! Keep in mind it’s probably not something good for smaller children that can not read like my earlier statement there is a lot of reading.

While on short trip to pigeon forge my 11 year asked to go here (who fell in love with titanic from the James Cameron movie). Our group of 7 paid over $200, and while the staircase was beautiful, this just wasn’t what we were expecting. If you want a history lesson from building to sinking, yes this is for you. If you want an experience, then no it’s not. Take pictures outside with the titanic in the background and save your money.

I loved seeing all the memorabilia and artifacts from the ship. It was a great day with my daughter.
