Highly recommend. We liked that masks were required. The tour is timed so not too many “passengers” arrive at the same time. The exhibits were beautifully done. We found the docents to be helpful and knowledgeable. They even had a pianist playing period music!! For us this was not to be missed!

We were assigned time slot of 2:00 pm. If you are driving from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge leave at least 1 to 1 hour and fifteen minutes to arrive. Traffic during the week of November 11 was ridiculous. This museum was amazing. So much history and details which I have never been exposed to as a teacher! I highly recommend for families and school groups! It is a self guided tour and they give you a device to listen to an extended amount of information and interviews along the way. Two stores (there is an elevator).
