This is definitely a must see attraction. We visited back in July because school started in early August so our grandson always wanted to see the Titanic so we made it a surprise for him. It’s a must you buy your boarding pass early, before you come. Once inside you will see artifacts that we actually recovered from the ship wreckage. Before you board you will be given a listening device where at each station it will give you a detailed description of what you are visiting. This goes through the entire tour. At one point of the tour they have a station where you can simulate steering the ship around an iceberg. Gives an idea on how hard it is to judge and steer. At the end of your tour there is a display set up of 28 degree cold water which gives you an idea of how cold the water was when the ship went down. Also there is another very interesting part, there is a man who filling the roll of Capt. Smith who at the time the ship went down was the ships captain. An excellent portrayal of Captain Smith. The gentleman’s name is Lowell Lytle. Mr. Lytle actually went down to the sunken wreckage in a submersible submarine and he had a story to tell. He actually has a piece of the metal in a protective case like they would put a collectible coin in. He’ll bring the kids forward and let them hold it for a photo op. For me, this was the best part of the tour. Very educational for sure.
