Best luau ever!!! Literally, no negative thing to say. This is located at the Waimea waterfall. They treat you like family from the minute you arrive. The demonstrations were a great learning experience and authentic. The place is beautiful. The staff is very talented. The same people greet you, seat you, perform the demonstrations, serve your food, and perform amazing dances and fire acts. They are family owned and the quality shows that they care. The food was delicious (they serve you plates instead of buffet, which is so much better and faster). They will bring you as much food as you want. It doesn't matter what level you buy, there is no bad seat in the place. The area is also under a covered pavilion which is nice. It rained toward the end, but we never got wet. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience and will never forget it. The only suggestion I would make is some better marking or instructions on how to get there. Having signs at the entrance for the luau would be helpful as it isn't real clear where the luau is.

More than entertainment - also very educational - we were engaged the whole time without being rushed & really enjoyed hearing about Hawaiian & other island history in an entertaining way! All the cousins worked hard helping with the workshops, wonderful food & cultural dances. They also were very careful & gracious about serving me a full plate of food that had been adapted to accommodate my bothersome cane sugar allergy which was a feat in itself for a Hawaiian island! Thanks so much - also thank-you for the extra kuhui ? nut lei given in honor of our 25th anniversary - we tied them together & think they are very special & we will dry the flowers from the floral lei as well. One thing that stands out is that even though these folks do this luau all the time - you can see that they never forget that each person in each group they serve is there to experience something special & their care for the customers well being & enjoyment shows in everything they do! The ticket also included entrance to the falls & the self guided tour/ hike was gorgeous & educational as well with living exhibits of native living! Wonderful natural landscape & gardens. Glad we came.
