SPECTACULAR! Don’t look any further. This is THE luau to attend on Oahu! First of all, the location. We enjoyed free access (which comes with the ticket) to Waimea Valley prior to the event and loved the gorgeous hike to the waterfall. Once in the luau, the fun immediately begins! Our children loved opening a coconut, the employees attentively made palm bracelets for them, and we just loved every opportunity to really be a part of the event - instead of just observers. Unlike other luaus we’ve been to, you really feel immersed in this one. The food was served SO quickly, and it was delicious! The show was top notch. So enjoyable, and moved at a good pace. Bottom Line: We’ve been to several luaus. This is the one I’ll recommend to EVERYONE. It was the highlight of our vacation and we’ll definitely go back!

This was a highlight of my trip. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of the show. It was the perfect blend of learning and entertainment. You could tell the passion the team had. The warmth they shared was felt by everyone. The cultural experience was unparalleled to anything I have experienced here in Hawaii so thank you. The food was delicious, which seems to be lacking at some other luaus. Bravo and mahalo. Thank you Cousins, for sharing the history and culture of the Polynesian Islands! Recommend this to everyone!!

I have been to 3 luau's and by far, this was my favorite luau. We researched extensively, comparing location in relationship to our hotel, price vs experience, menu offered and type of show. We also wanted to make sure it was family friendly as well. There are so many good things to say about this luau, it is hard to narrow it down to one or two things. Parking was close and easy to get to venue. We weren't sure where to go, as there were no signs, but we just followed the crowd. They had extra things to do beforehand so make sure you get there early and get your money's worth; although participation is optional. It was misty when we arrived but no worries they have a covered area for the luau. After the initial activities they have a lady that is from Tonga that fills you in on the culture and the cooking of the meat. She is the most delightful person you could ever meet. There is plenty of time before, during and after to take pictures. After the activities and intro, time to eat. They had event appropriate music playing when we started to eat. The people serving the food were also the people entertaining us; talk about a servant heart! A couple of the servers stopped to talk with us and we noticed they did that with everyone. Food was SO good, so fresh and the variety was perfect. It really is an all you can eat buffet, from the salad to the dessert. They have water sitting on your table when you arrive and then you get a drink ticket to buy something other than water. They do have canned soda (diet drinks included), we don't drink alcohol so it was nice to have another option. When you are at this luau, it is their goal to make you feel like you are their family, and it works because that is the way you feel. They are so warm and fun. Everyone in the show was dressed fairly modestly. They stepped through other cultures to not only address Hawaiian culture, but Tonga and Samoan. They took time to recognize folks that were there for a special event. The whole show was well thought through, it has an order to it, but not rushed, I would say purposeful, but not rehearsed to the extent it would not be genuine. We all had such a wonderful time. At one point, we were being eaten alive by the mosquitos and they even had bug repellant... it's like they thought of everything. Only negative I can think of is at the base level, Silver package, you are the farthest away from the show so they put you at a pub table for better view, which is thoughtful but it is very hard on people with disabilities (which my husband is and he needed help getting up and down from his chair) and with short people (which we also had in our group), the chair hits them in a different area on their leg and cuts off circulation. If I had to do it again, I might bight the bullet and get the Gold or VIP Seating. I did not see any seating for handicapped specifically. Also heads up, there is a video on the website that says you get a certain percentage off, you don't; I wrote and asked about and Dennis Mataia wrote back and said it was an old video and offered up some strange reason that no one ever removes old videos from their website, it was an odd response. Nevertheless, this luau is top notch, it is "Fire"
