This was our group's first luau experience so we didn't know what to expect. The Toa Luau was recommended to us by a friend and we are so glad we chose this one! This is a family-owned and operated business and their pride in their work shows. Everyone was friendly and engaging. They went out of their way to include you. The food and entertainment was wonderful!

Had a great luau experience through Toa! All the performers were very friendly and treated each of us like family. We had a party of 8 (6 adults, 2 children under 4). As a part of the luau fees, we got admission to Waimea Valley and were able to stroll through the botanical garden and enjoy the waterfall before all of the activities. I would recommend making sure you have enough time to do the walk/stroll before the luau - it helps set the mood. At the entrance of the luau, we were greeted by some of the younger individuals who helped check us in. After we got checked in, we got our drink tickets and got our real orchid leis (which was not an extra expense). We were helped to our table and wanted to try some activities, but we were running a little late - so again, make sure you have enough time before the luau. We saw the rock oven and Kava ceremony which were both interactive. I really enjoyed both cousins (Cece and Mateo) of our newly extended Ohana and their emcee skills! It really added to the experience. The food was delicious and we were stuffed after the first round. They offered us more, and I would've taken them up on the offer if I hadn't already eaten so much! We got to see various Polynesian dances from Hawaii, Tonga, Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand and a fire dance. It was a sight to see! The dancers who performed were also the staff who had helped us throughout the evening. Overall, they really made us feel taken cared of and it was a great luau experience. This is a smaller luau as it is family-owned and driven, but I would definitely recommend this to my friends and other family if they asked for a luau.

We had a wonderful time at Toa Luau. The team had a personal approach, with a lot of humor. The food was great and there was plenty to go for seconds or even thirds. It was a marvelous show and we enjoyed every minute of it. We travelled from the Netherlands and a Luau is a great experience. Toa Luau is worth the drive from Honolulu.Thank you to all the cousins!
