We have 2 Luau showings per day, first luau starts at 1pm and second luau starts at 5pm. Set aside ample time in the day to walk through the fragrant flower lei gardens or hike among some of Hawaii’s most diverse plant life and even swim at the refreshing Waimea falls.

Waimea Botanical Garden and Falls is closed on Mondays all year except the Summer months, which is June to August. Despite of this, Monday luaus still pushes through all year round. On Mondays, gates will open 30min prior to check-in time for Toa Luau guests only.

Absolutely loved Toa Luau! Family owned and the amount of effort they put into all parts of the luau experience really shows. In particular, I appreciated the explanations and history during the Polynesian performance segment. The food was delicious and cousin Billy was a hilarious and wonderful host. The whole experience felt authentic. Plus the couple we were sitting next to had went to a bunch of luaus previously and said this was their favorite! I would highly recommend this Luau!

This is a young Luau experience. We thought we had booked a Luau with a longer track record than less than 5-years as of Jan. 2022. But, they did the best that they could, an we did find the experience entertaining if not a bit touristy for our taste. The Botanical Garden is incredible! Peacocks were beautiful!! The waterfall is nice too, but you'll have to walk through the mud and rocks, and are forced to wear a life jacket in order to enjoy this feature. So heads up! The luau dinner had plenty of food, and was quite tasty. Seconds were offered too! Really appreciated our "anniversary gift". Covid protocols at the luau were non-existent by the end of the evening as people were leaving. Hand Sanitizer was readily available, but no one was enforcing the masks.

This is the best luau on the island. Absolutely amazing staff. Absolutely amazing food. Extremely engaging, interactive, educational and entertaining. I attended three luaus during my recent trip and this one made the other two (including the Cultural Center) seem inauthentic, overproduced and not worth attending. If you only get to do one luau on your visit go to Toa. It’s worth every penny and you’ll leave feeling like family.
