We have 2 Luau showings per day, first luau starts at 1pm and second luau starts at 5pm. Set aside ample time in the day to walk through the fragrant flower lei gardens or hike among some of Hawaii’s most diverse plant life and even swim at the refreshing Waimea falls.

Waimea Botanical Garden and Falls is closed on Mondays all year except the Summer months, which is June to August. Despite of this, Monday luaus still pushes through all year round. On Mondays, gates will open 30min prior to check-in time for Toa Luau guests only.

This was the most entertaining, fun, educational, incredible experience we had while visiting the island of Oahu. I don’t think we could have imagined how special this luau was going to be. The host was so funny, charming, and warm. From start to finish we were all just mesmerized by the wit, information, colorful dance, music, food, and complete love we felt from this group of amazingly talented people sharing this beautiful luau with us . We had 19 family members, from ages 68-7, and EVERYONE raved about this for days. Don’t miss this!! VERY SPECIAL.

What an amazing day! We started by hiking our way out to Waimea Falls which is included with the Luau package. Beautiful landscape and so fun to swim out to the fall. After enjoying the valley, we headed to luau that night. I really enjoyed watching everyone get into the interactive experiences. It was small and intimate and you really felt like a part of the entertainment. Food was incredible! It doesn’t feel commercialized at all because it isn’t. They make it really special! By the time you leave, you feel like family. Thank you Toa Luau for making it a great night!

I thoroughly researched activities for our first Hawaii trip. We are a family of 7 with kids ranging from 1 years old to 16. The idea of an all day event with a hike to the waterfall ending with dinner and a show sounded like a blast. My husband tried to get out of going at first thinking it would be the typical cliche luau. I convinced him with the waterfall hike and he is so thankful I did! Not only is Waimea Falls gorgeous but the Toa Luau was just as eventful. The same people who showed us how to break open a coconut and make headbands with the palms, ended up being the amazing entertainment! I was pleasantly surprised that they literally did it all! Served our food, asked where we were from, and then had amazing talent as well! The announcer had a voice like Dwayne Johnson and was easy to listen to with his witty sarcasm. It was enough to keep our baby happy eating what tasted like home cooked food, and our teenagers enjoyed the “sights” as well! So good that I would go again in a heartbeat! Proved my husband wrong and that is a huge win for me :)
