We had a wonderful time, entertaining, beautiful location, great great food. Really enjoyed the intimate, family backyard bbq vibe. Our two teens really enjoyed their time there.

Our family will remember this interactive Luau forever. We were able to peel the husk off of coconuts, then crack open and scrape out the coconut meat, peel apple-bananas and bread fruit, and wrap taro-root leaves into a cup with coconut milk poured inside. We then watched as they pressed the coconut meat into coconut milk, poured it into the coconut shells we had just cracked and scraped the meat out of, along with some fish (this made a delicious dip for the bread fruit). All of this was then placed on the rocks of an imu oven. Several of the men then demonstrated how they climb to the top of the coconut trees, followed by a traditional ceremony demonstrating how villages would welcome visitors. This was all before or meal which was delicious. The best pork I have ever eaten, and good food all around. Our family highly recommends this Luau, it was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation!

Toa Luau is a great small atmosphere luau. We were 13 total, my family of 5 with teens, my two sisters families and my parents. I was put in charge of picking a luau. Though I was constantly asked why I picked a luau an hour away, Toa Luau help ease those questions. Every one had a great time. They really put on a good show, they keep it to a pretty small group, and the food was great. Get their early to enjoy the activities before hand, which is one of the reasons I picked this luau. It's worth the drive. Make a day of it and explore the Waimea Valley and other north shore sites.
