We did the 12:30 luau and it was perfect for our family. We had fun and learned so much about the islands of Polynesia. With having the cultural events we felt more like we were having an experience rather than watching a show. Cousin Cassie was a fantastic host and really engaging. We had a great time and felt like Ohana. But this review wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t say Thank You to Cousin Gordon for the awesome coconut milk demo 😉

The place is about 50 minutes from where we stayed at Aulani (Disney). Great countryside. You pass the Dole plantation and can see pineapple farms while driving. The famous North Shore beach is passed as well. I heard great reviews about the grounds/ gardens. The waterfall was not currently flowing so no swimming due to drought. We had our 87 yo father in a wheelchair. The activities before hand (don’t be late) are not really wheelchair friendly. The activities were awesome. Super interactive which most. Luaus don’t offer. They show was fabulous, interactive, MC fun and it was a spectacular experience. (I’ve been to 4 others). The food was excellent, big portions and they offered seconds for the big eaters. I only ate the protein (I’m a picky eater) and was plenty full. Drinks were heavy handed and excellent. We went with the gold package (2 drinks). That’s enough unless your drinkers like us. I would highly recommend this show!!
