We had the best time kayaking with Sunny Cove Kayaking. They are both professional and fun. The equipment was well maintained, the padding was lovely, and our guide, Cara, shared lots of information about the area (as requested by us - we ask a lot of questions!). Kayaking with Sunny Cove was an absolute highlight of our visit to Seward. Seeing the bay and mountains from the water, paddling past sea otters and porpoises ... that's something we won't forget. My only regret is not doing a multi-day trip ;)

We had an incredible time kayaking with Andrew! He was so knowledgeable about the area. We saw otters, seals, bald eagles, sea stars, salmon and so much more! Highly recommend this excursion.

My family of four spent the day on a private tour with Alex. He was FANTASTIC! He always had a big smile and was super encouraging to all of us. He took his time making sure we were all adjusted and fitted in our kayaks. We saw a pair of sea otters with a huge salmon, as well as many eagles and other birds. He made us a delicious lunch that we enjoyed on the beach by the rainforest walk. We also stopped at another cove to walk up some bridges to see the salmon. We ran into him a couple days later, and he remembered our names. Some friends we met at Denali were also fortunate enough to have Alex as their and they agreed he was the best. Definitely one of the highlights of our Alaskan vacation!
