Is this your first time in Cincinnati? Do we have the tour for you! The Top 10 Tour crams all of Cincinnati into one big morning adventure. It is a fast paced tour that kids enjoy too. Come hungry and wear comfy shoes because we cover a lot of ground - 2 miles walking . Be entertained by a friendly local guide as you explore the city's natural riverfront beauty and amazing architecture while learning about its rich history. Enjoy 5 of Cincinnati's favorite foods. Throw in a streetcar ride, an historic urban market, beautiful parks and you'll be ready to put down roots!
All food, transportation and a 3 hour guided tour is included.
Foods may include a Belgium waffle, a Cincinnati chili dog, Graeter’s raspberry chocolate chip ice cream, German goetta, a French macaron or a homemade cookie from the Market. Findlay Market is closed on Mon. Alternate tastings are provided.

Fountain Square

We enjoy ice cream on the plaza

Carew Tower

We step inside the lobby of the Carew Tower to hear the history.

Contemporary Arts Center

We point our the CAC and share the story of it's famous architect.

Over-the-Rhine

We stroll the historic neighborhood, pointing our the architecture, outdoor murals and fascinating history.

Findlay Market

We have our final tasting at the market and tour the market before returning to our starting point. Please note: Findlay Market is closed on Mondays, therefore we enjoy the sample of goetta along with the waffle at The Taste of Belgium Bistro.

Our large group of 8 joined Jackie on her "Bites and Sites" Tour of Cincinnati, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Even though several of our group were born and raised in Cincinnati, we learned so many fascinating historical tidbits about our birth city that we hadn't known before! Jackie is a wonderful guide--she is passionate about her subject and shares her joy about her hometown with enthusiasm and charm. We especially liked that she shared a little bit about herself and her family and her relationship to Cincinnati to begin the tour--it really set up a nice context in which we could hear about Cincinnati's interesting trajectory through the decades. Jackie is the perfect blend of articulate storyteller, and gifted "group-wrangler". She catered to all ages in our tour group of 15, and even held our 3 year old niece's hand walking through several neighborhoods. She is VERY good at her job, and if you are lucky, she will be the engaging host on your next Riverside Food Tour. We plan to try some of the other tour offerings on our next visit.

Exactly what I expected - an overview of the city, it’s history and uniquely Cincinnati foods such as street waffles and raspberry chocolate chip ice cream.

This is the tour to do if it’s your first time in the Queen City, and/or if you want to pack a lot into a small investment of time. It’s a little history combined with fun food (some of which you’ll never get anywhere else!) and a fair amount of walking. If you didn’t love Cincinnati before, you will after this tour. Good for families and solo travelers who want to get their steps in for the day!
