The pluses: We took the Cincy Top 10 food tour that departs from Taste of Belgium at the Banks at 10 am. Our guide David was very thorough and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We got a great overview of the past and present of the city, all the while enjoying local food. All of the foods on offer during the tour were great. The minuses: There was no coffee shop included in the tour or close to any of the stops, that we could get some coffee/drinks from. So the only way to hydrate would be to bring your own beverage before the tour begins. Considering this is a three hour long walking tour, that is a little hard to do. Also, for those in the middle of being "vegetarian" and "meat lovers", the food choices are not good. But that may well be attributed to the food preferences of the locals and not the tour operators.

We appreciate your in-depth review and the great comments about David your host and the overview of the city and food. You're correct about the tastings, as this tour features the favorite foods that Cincinnati is known for, There isn't a wide range of vegetarian options. Our other tours offer more flexibility. We do suggest to our guests in the ticket confirmation emails to please bring a water bottle for hydration especially in the heat of the summer. Thank you for mentioning that. I hope you can join us on one of our other tours!

The tour included 5 tastings and stops along the way to learn about the city and it's history. Jackie was knowledgeable and kept us on schedule. The weather was a bit chilly - I was wishful thinking that it would warm up so I was underdressed and paid the price for that choice so make sure you dress accordingly as a lot of time is spent outside. Overall it was a good way to learn about and see the city in a short amount of time. Oh and Jackie took pictures for us throughout and then shared them via email which I think is a great addition and makes it so to tour runs smoothly and we got some candid shots which is great.

One of the best tours we have been on to learn about the history, culture, people and food for a city and surrounding area. I would recommend this tour and this company for other tours they have based on our experience. Very organized and educational. David was our tour guide and he did a great job. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable.David really had a passion to show off the city of Cincinnati and share where it came from and the changes going on. Our 4 food stops were great, Murals are neat. Walking plus the street car is a fun way to get around. If you try this tour I believe you will like the experience and you will remember it .
