People love this tour because you will be visiting as friends! From private VIP backstage to sampling, its all included!

I will be showing you real life working stills and getting behind the scenes where people can't go. You will be treated as VIP guests at all the locations we visit.

During our walk we will have a couple of stopping points where we will go over the fun (NOT DRY) history and tidbits of moonshine and of course talk about "how the old-timers did it".

This tour will be action packed for the full 3 hours you are with me with the goal of trying different wines and over 15 different flavors of all proofs and even a moonshine cocktail!

What To Expect

Tennessee Shine Company - Gatlinburg

Here we we will have an amazing tasting from flavors that will run from 35 proof cream based all the way to 135 proof 'off the still' moonshine.

Little Bear Winery

After a short walk, we go to an AMAZING winery where you will have a true VIP experience and sample many different types of wine.

Sugarlands Distilling Company

Our last stop will feature an exclusive to our tour behind the scenes tour of a working distillery from a knowledgeable guide. If that isn't good enough we will also give our guests the opportunity to sample actual moonshine cocktails. After that, we will be doing our last moonshine flight tasting. Its an experience not to be missed

My boyfriend and I are local to the area, so we have been to all the distilleries before.. This was a pretty cool Christmas Present from his family. and we were excited to check it out! It was a BLAST, and we would 100% do it again. Michael and Jenn provided history about the area, and how moon-shinning became popular in the south. He got us in behind the scenes tours at the distilleries. The tastings included more than what you normally get when you pay for a tasting, AND we got free cocktails at one of the distilleries. I am not kidding when I say it is probably a good idea to eat before this and definitely do not drive afterwards. We were with a group of about 18 people from all over the US. It was really fun to meet and drink with new people. We even made some friends we had dinner with after the tour was over! This was such a fun way to explore Gatlinburg. Even with being a local, I would recommend doing this. We would definitely do it again! Michael and Jenn will show you a really great time!

My husband and I chose to do this for our anniversary while we visited Gatlinburg. I wasn’t sure how much I’d enjoy it as I am a lightweight when it comes to drinking, but we both had a good time. Michael and Jen are great tour guides that know how to pace the tour to accommodate for unexpected crowds and time. Our first stop was Doc Collier with Sean as our taste master and a discount for purchasing their excellent moonshine before moving on to Sugarlands, a rowdier atmosphere. Connie was knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the distillery process while Brock was our amusing taste master there. Be prepared to walk and there can be a wait at Sugarlands if they are crowded. For some reason neither place had napkins available for customers even though it can get messy with the liquor. Thankfully Jen placed out wet wipes at the end of the tour but consider bringing a few in a pocket.
