The Tour of The Freedom Trail by the Histrionic Academy is the best way to see Boston. You will meet your costumed guide in the Boston Common and hear about Boston's inspiring history. Following the freedom trail past several historic sites guests will be amazed by the stories of America's Founding Fathers, the American Revolution and New England's Colonial History. This walking tour Follows the Freedom Trail for approximately 1.2 miles from the Boston Common to Faneuil Hall.

This tour was disappointing, to say the least. Our tour guide spent a good 30 minutes in the Commons and then another 45 minutes in the cemetery. We did not walk 1.2 miles at all and did not see any of the freedom trail. We would’ve been better off on our own. Don’t waste your money. Walk the trail on your own.

I have visited Boston several times and finally decided to go on a tour of the Freedom Trail - totally worth it! Our tour guide, who stayed in character as George Oswald, was enthralling and informative. He kept our focus the entire time with interesting facts and fun anecdotes. it was a ht day and he was good at situating the entire group in the shade. The whole tour took about an hour and 45 minutes. I highly recommend this tour!

Great guide and information. But, too many people on the tour... probably 75. Hard to hear over large crowd and against the city noise, sirens. (And, she didn’t have a microphone.). Plus, there were a TON of other tours going on at the same time. I would recommend a private tour!
