We took this walking tour based on reviews and were glad we did. Our guide was dressed in period costume and walked us thru most of the Freedom Trail's points of interest. A big highlight for us was the Granary Burying Ground, the resting place of Samuel Adams, John Hancock and Paul Revere. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining as well, providing us with a lot of anecdotes about the history and characters of the period. Highly recommended, if you do any tour in Boston do this one.

We were lucky to have a group of 35 people more or less on weekend of the Boston Marathon. George Osborn was our guide and he was easily heard by all and quite knowledgeable. We have done a tour like this 6 years ago and it was definitely not a repeat. Nice to hear anotherā€™s perspective. The only odd part was him taking a 10 minute or so break at a nut vendor by the old state house. Then after waiting, walked us around the building and the tour ended. Kinda a waste of time for us to wait while people ordered their snacks.

It was a very good tour, full of information and interesting facts. The guid was dressed in the uniform of that historic time, which gave you a sense of participation in the events. The guid was also involving kids in short reenactments. My 11 year old son loved the tour.
