Our tour guide James Otis was great. Just the right amount of time. We received a good amount of information and enjoyed the tour. It was a bit chilly.

Attended a tour of the Freedom Trail this past weekend and was initially skeptical when I saw the size of our group, guessing about 35-49 people. However our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and full of fun facts and little known stories about life in Boston Colonial times and the key figures leading up to the start of the American revolution. The tour stops at Faneuil Hall and doesnā€™t cover the whole Freedom Trail and is 1 3/4 hours long. Our group of 3 mid aged adults all enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

Caitlin Johnston makes history come to life. Though we had a large group, I never felt lost in the crowd. She made time to answer any and all questions we had. My eleven year old daughter even talked with her in between trail destinations. I wouldn't be surprised if Caitlin has done theatre, since she had no problem playing the character and projecting her voice above the city din. (When things got too loud, she also had a portable microphone. Highly recommend her tour (and we've done the freedom trail 4x, since my daughter's a history buff.)
