Overview

This tour is unique in that you will be hiking about a mile starting from the visitor center at Paradise and be picnicking next to some giant glaciers on Mt. Rainier. Throughout the day you will have panoramic views at viewpoints and and you will experience diverse landscapes and scenery such as waterfalls, lakes, and big trees in old growth forest when we stop at highlights in Mount Rainier National Park.

What To Expect

Mount Rainier

We drive to Mt. Rainier National Park (2 hours) and hike from the visitor center at Paradise for about a mile where we picnic close to some giant glaciers. We then hike back for a mile and drive to viewpoints with panoramic views and we see the Narada Falls and the Christine Falls, old growth forests with a thousand year old big trees and the Reflection Lakes. In Winter and Spring seasons (November-June) we will snowshoe rather than hiking - no experience required.

Amazing tour experience with a lot of attention paid by Susan to make sure everyone was catered for and comfortable. She did an amazing job and it was stunning to go up the mountain in November with the clear crisp conditions

Absolutely beautiful trip. Susan is incredibly knowledgeable and though I know she's done it a lot she still carries a wonder at seeing all the places she took us. Got some great pictures and memories. Will definitely go again on return trips!
