Treasure Island Electric Bike Beach Rental

Overview

This is probably the most fun you can have in Treasure Island. We mapped out a fun and safe route. The trip covers about 6 miles. This is a semi-private tour with a small group.

Begin with an introduction the the Ebikes. Then, follow your tour guide through the quiet neighborhood by our shop. Become familiar with the Ebikes in an area with little traffic as we pass by mansions and water views.

Follow your guide through the neighborhood in Isle of Palms and then continue along Lagoon Lane towards John's Pass. Take a break under John's Pass Drawbridge. We often see dolphins swimming under the bridge, but not always.

Next, ride to the top of the bridge and watch the sun sink into the Gulf. We will take some pictures for you.

Venture back to the starting point along the beachfront path.

Definitely book this experience!! Our family booked the e-bike guided tour of Treasure Island & Saint John’s Pass and it was awesome! Jacent, our tour guide, was super friendly and made sure everyone felt safe and confident on the e-bikes. I was worried my 19 and 16 year old sons would be bored riding around. That worry was quickly removed when we got on the e-bikes in the parking lot to practice. The bikes can move!! Jacent took us on an awesome tour of Treasure Island through beautiful neighborhoods and over the draw bridge to Saint John’s Pass. We were able to see a gorgeous sunset and the ride back by the beach was amazing. This was one of the highlights of our vacation. If you are looking for a super fun activity for teens to adults definitely book this. Thank you Jacent 😊

We did enjoy ourselves and the 2 guides but there were a couple downfalls. I feel like the route we took was kinda dangerous at times with the amount of traffic and cycling along the main roads and also being lead through multiple 2 way stops with no caution taken. For an experienced Electric Bike cyclist it would be fine but a couple of us in the group had not been on a bike for years. There was some beautiful scenery but difficult to take in and look around due to the pace of the “tour”. I also feel as if the price was too steep for what you get.

Thank you for joining us. We are glad you enjoyed yourself and the guides. The trip focuses on riding the electric bikes around the island. We do not recommend the ebike trip for those who have not ridden a bike in years. I see that you found the trip dangerous. The activity spends a total of just 4 blocks on the main road. The majority of the trip is on side roads with little traffic, and then a beach path with zero traffic. Our lead guide exercises caution at each and every intersection. You were not led through multiple 2 way stops with no caution taken. If there is an oncoming vehicle, your guide will stop and will have you stop too. If it is clear, it is safe for you to follow through. We are riding electric bikes, so the pace is about 10 mph. We stop under the bridge where there is a beach with dolphins, and then we stop on top of the bridge where we see a beautiful sunset. Based on your feedback, perhaps we will add a few more stops to the route to take in the scenery.
