On the only non-beach day we had in the Sarasota area, we reserved a time slot with our two children in their early twenties (make sure you reserve in advance!) The courses were fun and just challenging enough that we had a sense of accomplishment without feeling overwhelmed (we are all novices to this type of activity). The excellent staff offered just enough help but didn't hover or give us too much direction, so we were left to figure each element out on our own - which was half the fun. We arrived at 1:00 and got through three of the five courses before calling it a day. If you want to make it through all five courses, I would recommend arriving in the earlier part of the day and bringing a picnic lunch: there are plenty of tables available, and a food truck was also there. We might have made it through all five if we attempted the first three the courses in the morning and the last two in the afternoon. The rules are you can't move onto the more challenging courses until you finish the prior course. We are all in pretty good shape, but we definitely felt fatigued after just three. I strongly suggest purchasing the gloves that they offer - especially if you're new to this, you might find yourself clinging on pretty hard to the cables. We walked away exhilarated after a fun, physical day that was unlike any other activity we have done during our yearly visits to the area, and we will definitely go back next year. It was a great day and a great bonding experience.

Hello! Thank you for visiting us with your family and taking the time to write such a detailed review. We are thrilled that you found your adventure both unique, fun, and rewarding. After all even our beautiful beaches can become tiresome and monotonous. Way to go on climbing and zipping through the first three courses and achieving that sense of accomplishment we always love hearing about! Thanks again for choosing to climb with us and we hope to see you and your family in the future.
