The staff at TreeUmph make it fun, they're really enthusiastic, nice and helpful.
You need some basic skills to do this - like walking on ropes that sway and hanging on to a cable over your head while walking on a 'tightrope' kind of thing. They teach you how to handle the harness and cables. It's very safe and you don't have to be a Ninja (if you're over 40 and aren't doing Tough Mudders on the weekends you might want to pack some Tylenol though - you'll use muscles you don't normally use).
This is a good place go zip lining to see the views of Florida most tourists don't see - with scrub pine, Spanish moss, and saw palmetto.
You'll need at least 3 hours to do most of the course. If it is hot when you go, drive a lot of water before you even get there. Wear sunscreen.
Be sure to map out good driving directions, we got lost over near Myakka and there is no AT & T cell coverage out there near the border of DeSoto County.
