What a great time! I took my teenage son and a few of his friends. The Treeumph Guides takes great care to put your safety first. The day starts with an orientation to the gear and course safety. After a 15 minute video, you'll demonstrate your mastery of the basics on a very small course. After that you'll be on the the real courses. There are 5 plus a ~700 (ish) foot zip line. Each course is progressively more challenging than the prior. I think the first 3 are "all-age" courses, while 4 and 5 (the toughest) are for adults. It took us about 4 hours to complete all of the courses and the zip line.
The courses are self paced so you can stop for a break before moving on to the next course. I'd recommend bringing a cooler of water and some granola bars. Staying hydrated is key. If you forget, both are available at base camp. We actually bought the water package which includes unlimited water at each course. The fee was reasonable. They also sell gloves (which I also recommend).
Overall this is a great bonding, team-building, outdoor, activity. That said:
* Be sensitive to those: with extreme fear of heights, pregnancy, heart or other physical condition which may limit impede ability on the course or risk injury.
* Listen to the guides
* Stay hydrated
* Have fun!
