Our guide Jihae Simpkins gave us a fascinating tour of Tribeca by bringing us back in time to the 18th century and highlighting the importance of Tribeca in the evolution of Manhattan. I had no idea there were so many historic buildings in Tribeca. Each block was filled with history and Jihae did an amazing job of recounting the history and weaving it to current day Tribeca. Thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Thanks so much for your review! We agree, there is SO much more to TriBeCa than most people would ever think... it's why we honored the neighborhood with it's very own tour! We are so glad you chose Metro Tours, come back and see us again soon!

Having been on many NYC walking tours with various companies, this one with Meghan of Metro Tours was among the most delightful. Our small group interacted with each other and with Meghan who was knowledgeable, pleasant, concerned with our experience and open to learning as we went along. Her training as a theater major in college showed through in her animated speaking style. Company owners, Justin and Laura, met our group at the start and are delightful people.

I took the tour with a friend. We were hoping for a causal walk on which we'd be entertained by our guide as we learned of the history of the area, the buildings, and the architecture. Pace of the walk was great. Buildings we saw were interesting, even if you aren't a history or architecture geek. Our group was small - only 5 people. We did learn quite a bit about the buildings and the area. However, the delivery of the information was a little dry. Our guide didn't seem very enthusiastic and seemed hesitant in his knowledge of the information. We finished about 30 minutes ahead of schedule, likely due to the lack of engaging conversation with the group. Could have benefited from additional information shared as we walked between specific stops.

Thanks for your review and your candid feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the content of the tour, we think TriBeCa is an amazing neighborhood with incredible stories! We are always striving to give the best tours we can and are very proud of our overall review rating, but it sounds like we missed the mark on this day and we appreciate you letting us know. And as a small, family-owned business, we have the ability to review this with the guide and quickly address opportunities for improvement. Thanks again, we are glad you joined us on tour!
