Trolley Tour in Historic Jim Thorpe

Overview

Our historic trolley tour goes from the visitor center at 2 Susquehanna St. through the Jim Thorpe Memorial, the Lehigh Gorge State Park, up Broadway past all the shops, restaurants, and museums to the Mauch Chunk Lake and drop off back at the visitor center. This 70 minute tour is a great way to see most of the town of Jim Thorpe, some of our beautiful natural scenery, great things to do while in town, and our historic buildings along Broadway! Our tour is a live narration with some of the interesting history of the town as well as our name sake.

Couldn't find where to pick up. The visitors center didn't know. Not enough seats. Very disappointing. Was looking forward to this.

Hmmmm, our ticket booth is right in front of the visitor's center, not sure how you missed us? We know it can be confusing when town is busy. If you missed your tour altogether, please call or email us directly so we can reschedule your tour during a less busy time of the year!

Impossible to park! Mobbed. We drove around for over an hour trying to find a parking spot. Fortunately and kindly, the trolley tour changed our tickets to another day and told us to arrive by 10:00 am to be able to find a parking spot. Wish they had told us that before.

This is NOT a review of the trolley company- but a review of the traffic and parking in our small town! Yes, we are very accommodating and try our best to reschedule people. With ALL purchases our ticket does advise early arrival in October! Please plan accordingly during this very busy fall season.
