Trolley Tour in Historic Jim Thorpe

Overview

Our historic trolley tour goes from the visitor center at 2 Susquehanna St. through the Jim Thorpe Memorial, the Lehigh Gorge State Park, up Broadway past all the shops, restaurants, and museums to the Mauch Chunk Lake and drop off back at the visitor center. This 70 minute tour is a great way to see most of the town of Jim Thorpe, some of our beautiful natural scenery, great things to do while in town, and our historic buildings along Broadway! Our tour is a live narration with some of the interesting history of the town as well as our name sake.

I’ve enjoyed several Trolley Tours in different states and this one excelled above all others. Our driver has accrued extensive knowledge about JimThorpe-the man and his life and history-and the history of the quaint and beautiful town of JimThorpe. The trolley tour was informative, interesting and fun. It’s the perfect introduction to beautiful JimThorpe and the surrounding area.
