We went on the half day tour on July 11th. We were all first timers. We had an incredible time! Our guide was Teresa and she was phenomenal. She is the only female raft guide and she was was fun, experienced and knowledgeable. There were other families that had younger children with them (probably age 10 and up). The actual rafting time is about two hours. The company is so well run and organized. They explained all safety procedures and let us know what to expect. The first hour and half is calm and there are several opportunities to jump out and swim. The water the clear and clean. The last 30 min were class two and class three rapids. The adrenaline rush was amazing. The photographer took many pictures along the River. You can not bring anything in the raft because you do get wet. Tip: We saw other families bring their own insulted water bottles and they can clip onto the raft. The tour provides water at the end. I would absolutely recommend this tour! We all had so much fun!

We booked a 1 p.m. departure trip on our last day in Tahoe. Tahoe is our favorite place on Earth, and have been there many times but had not done a raft trip. From the moment we arrived at the office to when we loaded the bus with David (? ) (hilarious, informative) the photographer gave a little speel (great guy/great photos) to our guide Ivan(who knew ALOT about the Truckee area, shared with us about the railroad that we didn't know) A Great Great experience.
