True Crime Walking Tour in Soulard Neighbourhood

Overview
Bank robberies, Voting Riots, bloody duels, sociopathic midwives and prohibition gangsters: these are just a few of our tour’s colorful details plucked from old headlines in this river city! Our walk through the past of Soulard will guide us down streets with post civil war buildings and take us by some of the best bars and restaurants in the city.

We are out to have fun and resurrect some ghastly stories of the past. Historic Soulard hosts the second largest Mardi Gras celebration in the US and for that reason they allow us to play by Mardi Gras rules every day. We can all brazenly carry alcoholic beverage through these streets - just ask your bartender for your drink "to go" and bring it with you as we loop around the neighborhood getting a dose of history and entertainment!

True Crime Waking Tour was a great stroll through some unknown stories of the past. Tim does a great job of bringing the past stories to the present and showing off Soulard at the same time.

I traveled from Portland to STL, meeting up with family friends for my adult daughter’s birthday and included dinner @ Molly’s and this walking tour of the Soulard neighborhood as a surprise present. Despite it being a miserably hot and humid evening, Tim provided our small group with a wonderful hour of fascinating, fun and historically knowledgeable true stories of various crimes that occurred during the prior three centuries. It was great for all of us (none were familiar with St.. Louis) to learn such fun (and oftentimes gory and hilarious) facts about the city and its history. Tim’s presentation was engaging and he had clearly done his research. And somehow, despite dripping humidity, he never seemed to break a sweat! Highly recommend to others.

SO FUN! We enjoyed every minute of it. We loved our tour guide. He was so informative and brought his stories to life. We also liked the walk around Soulard; the yards and all the beautiful flowers. We would highly recommend!
