What To Expect

Seattle
Tour will start From Seattle Downtown heading to north. Will pass Everett city after 30 minutes. Largest city in Snohomish County, Washington. one of the main cities in the metropolitan area and the Puget Sound region. The city is primarily situated on a peninsula at the mouth of the Snohomish River. (Sightseeing)

Marysville
Historically, the area has subsisted on lumber and agrarian products; the growth of strawberry fields in Marysville led to the city being nicknamed the "Strawberry City" in the 1920s. (optional Stop)

Smokey Point
After 30 minutes will pass The Smokey Point and turn to Mt Vernon. The community of Smokey Point itself got its name back in the 1950s from a restaurant named the Smokey Point CafƩ. The cafƩ generated a plume of smoke, hence the name Smokey Point. (Sightseeing)

Mount Vernon
Mount Vernon is the county seat of Skagit County, Washington, Downtown Mount Vernon is known for its annual Tulip Festival Street Fair, which is part of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. (sightseeing)

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
Roozengaarde Farm, Roozen started his own in Skagit County in 1950. In 1955, he purchased the Washington Bulb Company, making him the leader among the four flower-growing families in the area, and making the Washington Bulb Company the leading grower of tulip, daffodil, and iris bulbs in North America.

Snow Geese are typically seen in large flocks; up to 55,000 winter in western Washington. Most gather in the Skagit River Delta (Skagit County) Fir Island Farms State Fish and Wildlife Reserve are the best place for Snow Goose Watching.
