We will be chasing giant sea turtles, snorkeling past lava tubes, exploring marine life, and having a hands-on experience that includes raw video clips and photos for your group to take home with no additional costs, Myself and our small crew of professional guides are both experienced photographers and videographers that will capture great photos and videos of your group. I provide great instruction and high-end dive masks (no foggy or leaky masks!) With service and small groups setting us apart, photo and video clips costing no extras, and top tier guides I believe we are one of the best snorkeling trips on the island of Maui! We care about what we do and get you away from the big group boats. With small groups, we explore more of the reef and give exceptional service.

Our experience was great! Our instructor, Joe, was very knowledgeable and helpful! He made our tour great and we saw a lot of turtles and fish and other sea life!

Thank you to Zephyr Adventures for a fun snorkeling tour!! We didn’t want to be stuck on a boat with a large crowd, so we opted for a snorkel from the shore with a small group!! So glad that we did!! We had an awesome group of 8 (4 couples) and the tour was from 9:30-11am. We met up with Joe in the parking lot of Makena Landing. The parking lot is very small, so if there are no spaces available, you can find a spot on the street. Joe let us keep small, personal belongings in the Zephyr van. We signed waivers, got fitted for flippers, and Joe went through basic snorkeling instructions and safety procedures. DO NOT TOUCH THE SEA TURTLES! I can’t swim very well and I have a serious fear of the ocean. I was very thankful that Zephyr had life jackets available. While we were about knee-deep in the water, I almost chickened out. But Joe let me hang on to a boogie board until I felt comfortable enough to explore on my own. That honestly made all the difference!! Thanks, Joe! First, we saw a very large female green sea turtle. She posed for a couple photos and swam away. There were also 2 small sharks in a cave, a stingray, schools of fish, etc. Another very large sea turtle hung out with us for a while and swam alongside of us, toward the shore. Joe also found a small octopus and we were all able to touch it. Pretty cool!! The water was cool, but comfortable and calm. There is a restroom available at the beach. Photos are included with the tour. Joe air-dropped photos to our phones before we left. We honestly loved all of the photos! We would definitely recommend Zephyr Adventures to our friends and family!
