What To Expect

Everglades National Park

Everglades Area Tours' National Park 2 Hour Dolphin, Birding and Wildlife Tours is a great option for those with limited time and is also a great introduction to the area. The entire Everglades area, including Everglades National Park, is a wonderful place for to view dolphins. With over 300 species of birds throughout the year, it is the only Park that was established for its biological and ecological considerations rather than its geological features. However, most of the 1.5 million acres in the Park are flooded and essentially out of reach for the average visitor. Everglades Area Tours can you take you to areas seldom reached by others. In comfortable captain's style seating, you will be safely brought deep into Everglades National Park's 10,000 Islands for an interpretive tour with your naturalist guide. Depending on the season, you can expect to encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, as well as, numerous species of fish and shore birds. Not only will you be introduced to the wonderful birding and wildlife in the area, you will also learn about the Everglades ecosystems, it rich heritage and long history. We limit each experience to six guests, so you can expect an intimate experience in the wilderness. Don't forget your cameras, hats, sunblock and drinks

Dan was amazing. Such a wealth of knowledge. We learned things about the manatees, dolphins and birds that we will take with us forever. The Everglades are glorious and we were so thankful for the experience. We even got to play with two groups of dolphins 😁 Thanks Dan!

I enjoyed seeing dolphins and their playful antics as they followed our boat for a while. I also gained an appreciation for the size and biological diversity of the Everglades.

FANTASTIC TRIP!!!! Don was so knowledgeable about all wildlife and history of the area. My husband and I went on the early boat ride. We were fortunate to have boat to ourselves. Very informative and relaxing trip to many of the Islands. Do take hats and suntan lotion due to no awning or coverage. LOVED our time with Captain Don!!
