Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Minimum age to participate is 10 years old
After diving you must wait 18 hours to fly or ascend to 1,000 feet or more
Guests must be proficient at swimming to complete this activity
Guests must be able to carry 30lbs on their backs for short distances
Transportation not included
Basic swimming ability is recommended

Amazing diving experience. Shane was a excellent dive instructor and gave us a great introduction into the world of diving. Very relaxed and safe atmosphere :) I would highly recommend BanyanTree Divers to anyone looking to dive in Lahaina.

I was excited but also terrified to scuba dive for the first time. Mike was exceptional and though we were fortunate to have him all to ourselves (highly recommend!) I could tell he’d be fantastic and completely capable with a small group. He gave us all the information and tips we needed to be comfortable our first time under water. We hadn’t added the second dive initially but got to see turtles and sharks on round 2 and so highly suggest it (the sharks were beautiful and not scary)…We actually had so much fun we ended up going out a 2nd day for a 3rd dive. Will definitely book with Banyan Tree Divers every time we come to Maui ✨ *Add the photo package-we got SO many amazing photos of turtles, sharks, us, fish, eels!*

My husband and I hadn’t been diving for 3 years, so we booked a private dive. We were so lucky to have ended up with Kevin! We started with a few basic skill reminders in the water, which was helpful. Kevin was so patient! Then went right into our first dive. Lots of gorgeous fish, and the reef was impressive. But the second dive - Mala Pier - was absolutely amazing. Kevin did such a great job spotting fun sea life like several eel, a reef shark, and camouflaged fish. But the highlight was the turtle cleaning station. There were so many turtles, and they were fantastic! They got so close, and it was one of those once in a lifetime experiences we’ll never forget. Kevin also did a fantastic job photographing our journey! Most of the time we didn’t even know he was taking pictures (some missed opportunities on our part there!), and when he sent us the photos the next day (all 464 of them!), there were some real gems. It was so neat to be able to send some to friends and family. We definitely recommend Banyan Tree Divers! Thank you, Kevin, for an amazing time!!
