Tybee Island Ghost Tour

Overview
Come take a ghostly historic tour of the southern tip of Tybee Island! Starting at the historic Carbo House, you’ll be greeted by your knowledgeable local ghost host for check-in. You will then be escorted around the South Beach area which is considered the down-front district of the island, it is loaded with shops, restaurants, bars, attractions - and ghosts! We will have a restroom and cocktail break at a family friendly restaurant which has a haunted background and a lot of history. Please be advised if you would like to wander the sandy beaches to look for shades and shadows, pets are not allowed on the beach “unless it is a service animal”. If you do bring baby strollers please be aware that there might be limitations for them on the actual beach, which we can try to improvise if needed.

Learning the spooky history of the island ! This tour made our whole trip ! If you visit the island you have to do the ghost tour. It needs to be part of your list.!!

Stories felt made up. Very little actual history given just stories of sightings of spirits in various buildings. Don’t waste your time or money.

Hello, It’s unfortunate that you didn’t enjoy Tybee in itself. All of our information is actually sourced and fact checked. Nothing is made up and sourced from the historical society, newspaper articles, and actual local accounts. You took a paranormal walking ghost tour of the south end of the island. Not a history tour, even though we do provide plenty of history on our tours, you did book a ghost tour.

Our 4th grade school teacher guide was very informative, and she had great jokes on top of it. We loved her comedic style, and the use of the "ghost-hunting" equipment made our tour extra, fascinating for the kids. It was good that she had nearly one piece of equipment per group member. We had 5 kiddos, ages 9-15 with 6 adults.
