Tybee Island Ghost Tour

Overview

Come take a ghostly historic tour of the southern tip of Tybee Island! Starting at the historic Carbo House, you’ll be greeted by your knowledgeable local ghost host for check-in. You will then be escorted around the South Beach area which is considered the down-front district of the island, it is loaded with shops, restaurants, bars, attractions - and ghosts! We will have a restroom and cocktail break at a family friendly restaurant which has a haunted background and a lot of history. Please be advised if you would like to wander the sandy beaches to look for shades and shadows, pets are not allowed on the beach “unless it is a service animal”. If you do bring baby strollers please be aware that there might be limitations for them on the actual beach, which we can try to improvise if needed.

What To Expect

Tybee Island

We will meet at the Carbo House located on 9 Tybrisa Street, Tybee Island, Ga and speaking about the history and hauntings surrounding the area.

Tybee Island

We will talk about the Atlantis Inn and the poltergeist activity at this destination.

Tybee Pier

We will walk down to the beach to look for ghostly apparitions near the dunes and around the pier before we end the trip.

Our guide provide information about herself and family time being from Tybee island but not really historical facts or hauntings. I know she feels, her family was important to the guests but it’s not really. Would not recommend for anyone to do this.

Hello, We are rather shocked that this review is directed towards the guide since we were on the tour ourselves. There was a total of eight ghost hauntings mentioned for the tour. The guide did not talk about herself nor her family in the manner you are speaking about. There was several historical facts brought up about the island continuously throughout the tour and people even googled those facts that were brought up during the tour once the actual tour finished on the pier. We are terribly sorry that Tybee’s history and hauntings clearly aren’t valued by you but we strongly disagree with your statement.

Amnesti was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history on Tybee. We enjoyed learning new things about the island and though we didn't see or hear anything we did get good responses from the dowsing rods. Overall a very fun experience.

Amnesti was a tour guide. Great personality and very informative. She brought ghost tools too. We really enjoyed our two hour walking tour on the island.
