What To Expect

U Street

Our tour will take place predominantly along the U St corridor, which is rich with history. We'll stop in several places between restaurants to share the history and culture of this diverse neighborhood.

Lincoln Theatre

We'll stop outside of Lincoln Theater and speak briefly about the history of the building and events that have happened there.

African American Civil War Memorial Museum

We'll point out the African American Civil War Memorial, outside of the Civil War Museum. We encourage everyone to return and explore the memorial and the museum on your own time.

Cancellation Policy

What a great combination of food, street art, and local history. Scott was a wonderful guide that wove these three interest together for a memorable 3 hr tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone!!!!

Scott did a fabulous job! Not only is he a wealth of knowledge regarding the cuisine we sampled but also about the vibrant U Street area and it’s amazing street art. I can’t recommend this tour and Scott enough. Thanks for a great start to Valentine’s Day!

This is the best food tour I've experienced. Our tour guide, Scott, was personable, knowledgable, and a lot of fun. Even more, he had an obvious love for the community that shone through at every stop. And the food was delicious, too. If you're interested in truly learning about the fascinating history and culture of DC, you will love this tour.
