This tour is guaranteed to delight people of all ages, as you take in the history of the area, encounter our indigenous wildlife at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and marvel at the beauty of The Last Frontier on a glorious sunset drive!
The Turnagain Arm is a must-see any time of year, but it holds a different charm in the winter that is guaranteed to dazzle!
We meet all travellers at the Dena'ina Center for pick-up, but will drop off at any Anchorage hotel as the tour ends after dark. If your hotel is not listed, please get in touch with us to arrange your drop-off location.

What To Expect

Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

Take a walk on the wild side as you're guided around the 200+ acre Conservation Center. Your guide will walk with you, sharing information about the various animals located at the facility. We will be sure to make time for the gift shop!

Girdwood

We will pass by Girdwood, if time allows we will drive through the town.

Beluga Point

A favorite for visitors and locals alike, Beluga Point is a must see stop along the Turnagain Arm

Chugach State Park

We will stop at various other points in Chugach State Park on our sunset drive back to Anchorage.

Point Woronzof

Provided time and light allows, we will make one final stop at Point Woronzof where we'll catch the rest of the sunset and watch planes landing at Ted Stevens International Airport. If we're lucky there may be food trucks parked here to grab a snack before heading back for the evening!

I was in Anchorage only for a couple days wondering how I could make the best of my time out there. This was hands-down one of the best tours I've ever done and the highlight of my very first trip to Alaska. Brittney is an amazing tour guide. She is knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. I loved every bit of the Turnagain arm drive up to Girdwood. Visit to Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center was magical. She was very accommodating in making stops when I wanted to check out different sights along the way. I loved that I got to grab a hot drink on the way back at a cafe in Girdwood as well. This trip would not have been the same without Brittney. She helped me have an elevated experience of the whole thing. I can't recommend this enough. Incredible value! PS: I took all these pics using my cellphone Pixel 6A.

LOVED this tour!!! The guide, Brittany was awesome, friendly & knowledgeable. She knew all about the wildlife at the conservation center. She evens knows the bears by name. The drive down the Turnagain Arm at sunset will go down in my mental memory book forever. It was kind of cloudy but it made it that much more beautiful.
