Ultimate Grand Canyon Private Day Tour

Overview
***Private tour***

Of all the full day tours we've given over the years, this is the one that really wows the most. Starting with Oak Creek Canyon, one of americas most beautiful drives, then next on to the lava flows at Sunset Crater, and the 250+ Pueblos at Wupatki National monument, all while exploring the the ancient landscape the same way the natives had, so that when one arrives to the Grand Canyon they come in with full breath of readiness to experience it (we are the only company that explores them on FOOT in person!). Before entering the canyon we stop for lunch at the famous Cameron Trading post, then off to the East entrance, where we explore 4 points of interest to entirely take the day in, finally exiting at the south entrance. To experience this trip to its fullest, its best to start the day based in Sedona, or Flagstaff. Lunch at Cameron Trading post and fees to the park are included.

What To Expect
1
Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument
Explore the most recent lava flow in Arizona as well as the unique landscape that is so one of a kind,
2
Wupatki National Monument
Nestled between the Painted Desert and ponderosa highlands of northern Arizona, Wupatki is a landscape of legacies. Ancient pueblos dot red-rock outcroppings across miles of prairie. Where food and water seem impossible to find, people built pueblos, raised families, farmed, traded, and thrived. Today, if you linger and listen, earth and artifacts whisper their stories to us still.
3
Grand Canyon National Park
A view and experience the entire world has heard about, but taking the trip and seeing for yourself is an entirel new and mind boggling feeling and is difficult to take all in at once. Its an unforgettable time that shows us the immense size and and scale of earth, and ourselves.
4
Cameron Trading Post
A break for lunch. As well as the best place to buy native art and see souviners.

I just expected to have a sightseeing tour and the driving done for us. But there was so much more than that. We explored some ruins, walked on hardened volcano lava, even lunch was fun at the trading post. Plus the Grand canyon and all the geology we learned, with the natives point of view. I couldn't ask for more!

Wow!...where to start? ultimately seeing the Grand Canyon was a great part of the tour, but finding out how it was made, where and when it all started, was equally as inspiring. The van we rode in was clean, modern and well equipped. The guide, Conner...was very knowledgeable of the vast history or the entire area to include the geology, topography and the history of the people who inhabited the region thousands of years before western European influence. I'm so glad we did a tour instead of just driving around and trying to find the good spots on our own. I highly recommend Dynamic Journey Tours to get the most out of your Grand Canyon experience, and you may just get a lesson on the Native American spiritualism that permeates the entire region, included in the cost.
