What To Expect

Las Vegas

We proudly offer a designated bus driver (for safety) and step-on tour guide (for entertainment and information). Our drivers do not double as tour guides. Start your tour with pickup from select Las Vegas hotels and we don't take you to a central location to reload onto a different bus. You will go out on the bus you were picked up in. Limiting pick-ups and traveling on one bus allows us to save time and get back early. It can take hours to pull in and out of every hotel. By limiting pick-ups to 7 we are usually the first bus company to Hoover Dam. En route, your guide entertains and answers questions Hoover Dam, its history and/or the Las Vegas area.

Boulder City

Travel through historic Boulder City, viewing the quaint Dingbat houses which were built for the Dam Workers, and the historic Hoover Dam Hotel. We also make a stop here so you can visit the Hoover Dam Museum.

Hoover Dam Bypass

Our buses have an added treat, a photo stop at the new Hoover Dam bypass bridge for the single best view available of Hoover Dam. Get those cameras ready for the best selfie ever!

Hoover Dam

On arrival, you’ll begin with a generator viewing. Travel 524 feet (160 meters) into the walls of Black Canyon to view the Nevada power-plant, generators and a 30-foot-diameter (9-meter) pipe inside one of the four giant diversion tunnels. Next, head into the Hoover Dam Visitor Center where you can see the history of Hoover Dam and view numerous exhibits that explain how the dam was built, how it operates and who benefits from the water and electricity. Walk on the Top Tour - This is an exclusive, fully guided comprehensive 45-minute walk over the top of the dam. Your knowledgeable guide will touch all aspects of the dam including electricity, outlet works, intake towers, concrete, diversion tunnels, water/drought, deaths, wages, earthquakes, artwork, WWII and more.

Amazing tour! I really enjoyed the experience to see the Hoover dam! Tour staff was wonderful, very knowledgeable and funny. Would definitely recommend!

This tour is exceptional. Two names: Harrison and Berny, both were extremely good, helpful and really organized all the way.. best guys ever on the tour! You can feel right from the beginning that they know what they are doing. Also company in general was very responsive about a minor issue with the pickup information. The bus was really good, nothing weird or out of place. Lots and lots of fun during the trip, mixed with very interesting information about the dam, Las Vegas and the area in general. They offer all the time cool water, you may or may not go with your personal bottle or water, they will keep you hydrated. First stop, Vegas sign. Just a couple of minutes to take a picture. Hint: try to do it from the gravel, to avoid the long lines of people. The stop on the bridge is really cool and some of the best views out there. Watch out for hats, glasses and other personal items, the wind is tricky on that place! The stop on the Dam is all the same, but they always try to keep all the group together. After the inside tour there is some time outside to check it the surroundings. On the way back, the stop on Omelet House is great. Nice place, awesome food, very well organized. At the end they drop us out of our hotel, even when that hotel was not on the list of pick-up hotels. They did the extra mile. Harrison got as all really tuned with fun and information. Berny took us there gently and safe. Overall: splendid!

The tour was well timed, paced and chock full of Hoover Dam information and history delivered on the bus ride there and through the visitor center theater and exhibits, and the Power Plant Tour on site. We were able to experience the dam from the highest point on the bridge to it’s base. Our guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable about Las Vegas, Boulder City and the building of the Hoover Dam, and timed each component of our tour perfectly. Lunch on the way back was a nice and convenient touch. The entire tour was completed on schedule to boot! Highly recommend!
