We took a private tour with Miranda as a team outing, and it was really cool! Even though I was born and raised in Cincy, I learned so much all along the way, and I certainly didn't know we had those tunnels down there. Miranda was also a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and a lot of fun!

We took the Ultimate Queen City Underground Tour with American Legacy Tours on a Friday morning, hoping for a smaller group. Turned out it was small: my wife and I and our tour guide, Matt. With just us, I almost expected our guide to "phone it in" but Matt *more* than exceeded expectations!! He was friendly, engaging, informative, and highly qualified. He happily answered questions and provided additional interesting historical trivia from architectural mishaps and the ubiquity of graves in our midst to the origins of Annie Oakley, Billboard magazine, and Major league baseball. It was an eye-opener! And all that was just the opening act! The stars of the tour are the undergrounds: the poignant crypt and the *cavernous* brewery tunnels. And Matt was the perfect presenter to provide the context for us to understand what happened in those places and what their historical significance was as well as how they were lost to public view and how they were rediscovered. If you want to understand Cincinnati's pivotal place in American history, this tour is highly recommended... And maybe you'll be fortunate enough to get Matt as your guide.
