Our friendly staff will assist you on your adventure whether it is your first time or you are a seasoned fisherman to ensure the best fishing experience. The crew was great. But the trip was kind of a bust. False advertising at most. Would not recommend this trip to anyone. This was a special birthday gift for my husband and he was disappointed so if he's disappointed so AM I... I would love to get a full refund. The captain called me last night and had no idea what he was calling me about. Again whattt...

We went on a fishing trip this past Mother’s Day with the Blue Ocean crew and had an amazing time! Aloha again guys! Not sure what all the negative reviews are about or if staff had changed but we found our captain and crew to be professional and friendly. We set off early in the morning and some members of the other party got seasick, luckily my husband brought some medication and bracelets to help. I’d recommend bringing some if anybody in your group may get sick on the boat. After traveling for some time we got a glimpse of our fishing ground and set out our lines. The views over Waikiki were amazing. We brought a bunch of snacks and drinks to enjoy as we waited for bites. We ended up hooking a couple of fish though I was looking forward to catching more, I guess nobody can really control that though. This tour was really more about the time we got to enjoy with everyone else in our group and I’d definitely book with them on our next trip!

Worst fishing experience ever - should be able to give a zero. Left late, back early and were out closer to the shore than the water activities. There was no fish to catch and was told by the captain we did catch a bigger fish two weeks ago! The trip was so bad that people were actually just sitting around waiting to go back. To finish things off we were told it's about the experience and had a massive tip jar shaken in each person's face. There was no experience! To make matters worse I realised after that the hotel activities counter had added $25 per person to our price - yes, we paid $130US each! The bait was terrible, not that it probably mattered as there was no fish to eat it. Rods ready to break and no chance of losing a hook as you were told not to get it stuck on the bottom and the way you were told to fish ensured there was no way you would even get close to the bottom of the water with your hook to bottom fish! Might I also add this is no 'luxury' fishing tour, felt like I needed my lifejacket in reach just in case, but then we were so close I could have easily swam back. Had 20 people on the boat, couldn't imagine how they would fit 49 on the boat, if they did you would have to take turns. Don't do this trip.
