We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Federal Donuts, Dotties Donuts, Beilers Doughnuts and more.

I’ve lived in the Philadelphia region all my life and this tour was awesome!! Donuts were fresh, yummy, and a new experience!!! Neal, our tour guide, was so kind and knowledgeable not only about donuts but some really cool history tidbits along the way. He really made the tour enjoyable.

I was honored to be able to be a part of the first underground donut tour in philly! I have nothing but good things to say and would highly recommend the tour for people of all age groups. Neil, the tour guide, was great! He was very engaging and knew quite a bit about the donuts/shops we visited. Every donut shop had its own speciality and Neil did a great job highlighting the key differences along with providing fun facts and historical insights throughout the tour. It was nice way to spend a couple hours in the city with family and friends!

Had a great time on the tour! Ate a ton of donuts and the ice cream sandwich at Sweet Charlie's filled me up so much, I could barely eat anything at the last stop. Neil was great - he knew a lot of lesser known historical facts I had never heard about Philadelphia. The tour went outside of the classic Independence Hall and included some African American and cultural food history that a lot of other tours wouldn't mention. Neil was also very knowledgeable about the donuts themselves as well as what makes each shop unique. Definitely check out the underground donut tour if you're looking for something outside the normal tourist checklist.
